All Parties and Private Events require a non-refundable $25 deposit to hold your slot. This deposit is applied to your total cost. Feel like none of these options are what you're looking for? Visit our contact page and leave us a message with your needs and we'll be happy to customize something just for you. We do require all personal animals to be secure outside of the main space we set up in with the exception of service animals. Please note that travel outside of La Plata County is an additional $50-$100 charge and we are not able to travel more than 2 hours outside of Durango at this time.

Our party package includes 45 minutes of hands-on learning with photo op time at the end. We will explore the history of species including fun-facts, diet, needs, and more. Once everyone has reviewed safe handling practices, they will have the option to get up close and personal with our friendliest critters. Booking this package gives you the option to add a personalized certificate for one lucky partygoer at no additional expense. Extra time can be booked for an additional $50/hr.
Looking to add a little flair to your event? You've come to the right place! We custom tailor our presence to meet your needs while bringing the most exciting critters along for the ride. Hosting a fundraising event? Attendees can make a donation to you and have their picture taken with the animal of their choice. Annual Halloween party? Let us spice things up with creepy crawlers and slithering serpents. The possibilities are endless. Our pricing for events starts at $300 for 2hrs. Additional time runs $100/hr with a 5 hour maximum.
For public schools we are happy to present to students of all ages in an exciting an age-appropriate way. These presentations will cover topics including but not limited species needs, diet, morphology, and husbandry. Students will get to view the animals up-close in a safe and controlled manner and schools have the option of making this experience hands-on if deemed appropriate.
